Agreed, although toffoli has been horrible offensively his board work and defence has been good. I know it’s been two games but man Romanov is good.
I do wish we had a 4th line faceoffs beast like Thompson. Interesting kk had the most faceoffs wins today

New team, TT is shy to shoot. Yeah Romanov is so good, Romanov-Petry real soon for the next ~4 years. I would have signed Thompson instead of Frolik at 750K

I agree on your assessment of Toffoli. Points are not there yet, but his wall work, passes and d-zone awareness have been better than I expected.

The heck youre talking about? KK was always onto the puck tonight and generated some chances despite no powerplay and playing with Armia whos trash right now. Toffoli missed a few chances but he's still pretty solid. What that line needs is more speed and skills which Caufield will bring when he ends his NCAA season

Yeah, Armia continues to be lazy. I hope he’s switched with Byron/Lehkonen (or even Perry) at some point, because he seems to be much more effective on the 4th, and it would allow Toffoli to play his natural position.

According to NHL.COM KK won 46% of his fo's Suzuki and Danault 36% and Evans won 50% so he was the best followed by KK. But both Evans and KK were working with Danault on faceoffs this week nice to see it paid off.
