I think you should realize that those are decent numbers for a goalie playing alot of games for the Los Angles Kings, one of the worst teams in the NHL prior to arriving in Toronto.

So decent they traded him 5 months after signing him to extension. I was a big Campbell fan when he was drafted, but hes not a goalie that teams to championships. Funny enough Andersen was in the same draft. Campbell was the first goalie taken and Andersen the 2nd to last goalie taken

They traded him because they had Jonathon Quick ahead of him and needed some other assets back for ther reuild project.......I think you are writing him off way to early........Johnnny Bower is an example of a star goalie maturing later in his career and was much older than Campbell........you have to realize that it takes alot of goalies some time to figure out their games......look at Markstrom and how long it took him to figure things out......Leafs in great hands with Campbell.
