We literally did NOTHING this offseason. There were a ton of great defensive bottom six guys who were available at FA to help us fix our defensive structure. There were dozens of d-men available either on the trade market or on the FA market nd all we came up with was JACK JOHNSON????????????

To be honest, I thought what we did was fine. Just sit back and wait another year and have the young guys play. Now if we don’t start producing come next season then there will be some issues. Also, we didn’t have much cap space to work with. We should have jumped on a shut down LD though. That would have been perfect.

Just Nutivaara at D and Larsson at C. Larsson becomes a key PKer and Nutivaara becomes a key PKer at D while playing 19-20-21 minutes a game.

Johnson and Rooney smfh. He could've done better. When I saw how poor his UFA was I gave up on hoping for playoffs and just said it's the last rebuilding year. Find a C in 2021 draft like William Eklund, wait for the youth, and keep going.

Things that NEED to happen:
- Dump Jack Johnson, Kevin Rooney, PDG, Brett Howden, Brendan Smith, and keep those AHL guys IN the AHL.
- Fire Quinn.
- Trade for Dubois
- Tank

Rooney can be ok as a 4th liner and a PKer.
PDG and Howden, if used properly, can be ok.
