Take out the Howden for Haas trade and maybe.

As an oilers fan, I like the Howden trade. A lot.

Haas is a good defensive center, Howden just sucks on both sides of the ice. Not sure how you don't accept if your NYR but Howden still has some potential but depends who you ask.

I thought Howden looked good last game, he was one of the only guys that seemed to work hard. I hope he rebounds this year.

Surprisingly enough he did, but I'd rather not keep him unless he takes major steps.

I'm under the impression that Howden is at the very least a solid defense center. He's also still very young and he's been a point producer at every level. At age 22
and at 6'3 -200, he could still very well develop into a solid NHLer. Though I believe Seattle will take him in the expansion draft.
