I thought Lee was incredible last game, but having him on a line with barzal does not maximize either of their skill sets. Lee is not good in transition, barzal is the best transition player in the league

I think this is probably the best way to phrase it but a counter point of- I think if barzal had beau on his wing with lee on his other let Lee trail a bit a muscle his way after beau and barzal push the net I think that’s how you maximize both of them.. also allow beau and barzal to cycle set Lee up in front of the net and have pulock or Dobson on and the system would flow

I just don’t think Lee should be with barzal at all - lee needs to be on a line that plays a cycle and board work style, which is why he was successful with tavares - he should be on Nelson’s line

No. As much as you never give a 15 year deal, had he not gotten injured (which you cant count on) we wouldve had a franchise goalie locked up long term for about 4.5 aav. Obviously not the greatest deal but not the worst. I dont hate that one as much as everybody else for some reason.
