I wouldn't look into matchups that much. A lot of hockey games are very close and the variability in the sport often has teams like Boston losing to bottom feeders some nights but still ending up doing fine.

That fair, but the depth and strong defense you normally see from boston just didn't seem to be there in 2 games I've watched vs the devil's, they might look better with some more practice and game time.
