I know you have Lindholm being extended with WPG, but I think the Jets would covet term if they do end up trading Laine.

It's no secret that Winnipeg isn't for everyone, if they can get a Drysdale , they essentially get 7 years of team control.

I also think Winnipeg needs to shoot higher than Lindholm, he's a good player, but Laine could score 60. I need to get something great in return for Laine if I'm Chevy.

No from Winnipeg. Lindholm is an LD, so not a long term need for Winnipeg.

Possibly. Unfortunately if you want young, high end talent, you need to give up young high end talent. There's very little chance Laine is moved this season anyways.

I dont see a deal between the teams, at least not this year.
Jets arent gonna get the value they want for Laine right now. If he has a great year, teams will meet their asking price IMO. ALso, teams will have a better understanding of their cap situations when the season's done
