Agreed, I'm just saying this is what it'll take to get the ball moving. Dubois is better than a lot of people think (established #1 center on a mediocre CBJ team). He was also pretty much unstoppable in the bubble last year.

Bro, you have to give to get. Dubois is the best player in the trade right now, by far. The idea is that Ottawa wins the trade now, and Jackets might win it later. The package offered is probably enough to get it done.

I actually think this is a decent trade. The Jackets get not only 2C/3C but also get a very solid prospect C, Jake Sanderson(who not only has CBJ ties from his Dad) also provides serious depth down the line for our blue line.

Yes, you have to give. That's what the senators does. I'm not a sens fans, but I'd think that Brannstrom instead of Sanderson is what Ottawa want. They will not give their 5th OA pick this year. Dubois prove he's a top 6C. But he need to prove me more since he's not playing with Panarin. His value goes really high because of his two season with Artemi.

Pinto is a legit top 6 prospect.
White is a middle 6 forward that probably need a fresh start.
I believe this offer is a really good package. I doubt Ottawa give Sanderson.
