Looks about right -- the only edit might be that Arvidsson sits this game out (minor injury in practice) and Tolvanen would take that spot on the top line.

Also, do Jarnkrok and Trenin play opposite wings on that line?

Will be interesting to see who gets the start -- could be the first time in a long while that Rinne doesn't play the home opener.

I'm beginning to wonder if both Grimaldi and Jarnkrok are on the team at the end of the season. Poile and Hynes seem obsessed with being hard to play against and being bigger. I think they'd love to run a 4th line with Trenin Richardson Olivier.

Honestly, I likee what I saw from Olivier in training camp, and I didn't mind him in his limited NHL action last season (though I was surprised he was called up initially). So I wouldn't mind him seeing some more NHL action this season.

It's tough when I have to choose between losing Grimaldi or Jarnkrok -- Grimaldi is such a spark plug that just seems to always be ready to play (which is missing from a lot of the players on this team) and Jarnkrok is the swiss-army knife kind of player that is always consistent in his game and can play up/down the lineup when needed. They are both very useful players -- but I have to agree with you. If this team sees a future with Tolvanen and Tomasino (and other players like Trenin, Olivier, etc.), then they'll need to make room somehow. And if it's not the recently signed players, then it looks to be one of Grimaldi or Jarnkrok that are on the outs. Maybe both. Who knows...

Jarnkrok has more utility but Grimaldi makes me think of a smaller version of arvidsson. End of the day, if we want to be bigger Grimaldi would be the one to get rid of since he’s so small.
