So Romanov is wearing red, which makes it possible that Gustafsson - Merrill is the 4th pairing and Kulak - Romanov will play tonight. Which would be a lot better.

Lines tonight are:
Toffoli-Danault-Gallagher
Caufield-Suzuki-Anderson
Lehky-Evans-Byron
Perry-Staal-Armia

Chiarot-Weber
Edmundson-Petry
Kulak-Romanov

D pairings make sense, I’d prefer to have Kk in but forward lines make some sense

With his assist on the Josh Anderson goal, Cole Caufield is tied for 3rd in points for a habs rookie in a playoff season.

1. Claude Lemieux - 16
2. Jacques Lemaire - 13
T-3. Shayne Corson - 11
T-3. Cole Caufield - 11

And now the injuries have come out, Weber had a thumb injury, Petry we already knew, Toffoli and Gallagher groin injuries and many more per Ducharme

Weber we already knew about from the photo of him with a finger brace on. Toffoli’s is probably a lingering injury from near the end of March when he missed a few games. Gallagher obviously got his groin injury in the 3rd period last night.

FFS. You cannot tell me the habs couldn’t have offered more money than the Ducks. Unless Bouchard really wanted to live in San Diego.

Likely. He was likely offered an NHL head coaching job in the near future

It's funny since I used to work at a Tartare restaurant and there was a special Tuna Tatar following a deal between the restaurant chain and Tomas Tatar. Now that he's UFA, the same recipe is called Thon Estival/Summer Tuna

The Trois-Rivières Lions have made their first 5 signings today. Here’s the players, and an interesting thing I noticed about each player by looking at their EliteProspects page:

Alexis D’Aoust - 25, RW
- Born in Trois-Rivières.
Guillaume Beaudoin - 25, LD
- Went to University in Trois-Rivières.
Olivier Archambault - 28, LW
- He was drafted in the 4th round by Montréal in 2011. Consistently over a point per game in the ECHL in his career.
Mathieu Corderre-Gagnon - 28, LD
- Has gotten whole lot of penalty minutes. Also listed as playing LW.
Mathieu Brodeur - 31, LD
- He’s 6’6”.

Well ****. He’s been a godsend for Laval over the last 3 years. The habs will be in tough to replace him with someone as good. He’s probably been offered a high-paying job in the KHL or something like that that the habs couldn’t match.

And just like that, Montréal/Laval have lost 4 of their 9 coaches to start the year.

The start of the year:
MTL
Head Coach: Claude Julien
Associate Coach: Kirk Muller
Assistant Coach: Dominique Ducharme
Assistant Coach: Luke Richardson
Goalie Coach: Stephane Waite
LAV
Head Coach: Joël Bouchard
Assistant Coach: Alex Burrows
Assistant Coach: Daniel Jacob
Goalie/Video Coach: Marco Marciano

Now:
MTL
Head Coach: Dominique Ducharme
Assistant Coach: Luke Richardson
Assistant Coach: Alex Burrows
Director of Goaltending*: Sean Burke
LAV
Assistant Coach: Daniel Jacob
Goalie/Video Coach: Marco Marciano

So now the habs need an AHL Head Coach, an AHL assistant, and probably another NHL assistant for next year. Plus with how well he’s done, there’s the possibility that Richardson gets poached by another team as well.

I wish Bouchard the best of luck in whatever comes next, and it won’t be long before he’s in the NHL, because he’s one hell of a coach.

Make that an AHL Head Coach, an NHL assistant, and 2 AHL assistants. So great.

Yes. I wrote this down awhile ago. (I was waiting for the Conn Smythe voting) I definitely accidentally write the number 3 2 times for Romanov.

So he finished behind Artem Zub, K’andre Miller, Zach Whitecloud, Ty Smith but who is Anderson? Also not sure why Whitecloud or Miller are ahead of Romanov

Whitecloud and Miller were quite better than Romanov. The latter had an impressive start but he regressed during the second half of the season. Mikey Anderson was on the 1st pairing with Drew Doughty most of the season.
