Description

Still young. What a draft class tho. Tonnes of HOF potential here.

Best class since 03?

I included the whole first round. And added any top quality 2nd or later rounders under "Steal Picks" added any solid 2nd or later rounders under "Quality Picks".

Solid, Average, Weak based largely on where they were picked. Example: Strome, good player, not 3rd overall quality in this draft class.

Players ordered in order they were picked. Example: I don't think Provorov was necessarily a better pick than Rantaanen, but he was earlier, both solid choices.

13-14 superstars out of that draft and about 45 NHL regulars. High quality. The first round was insanely good.

Not even close. he was picked 12 and there were at least 5 guys who should have went before him that went later in the first. Could argue average, not solid.

Ive posted this question before (just my team for reference) - Obviously a lot of players are left off but I believe this team is better than the '03 draft because of the generational talent McDavid plus Eichel who is basically franchise level. I think the fact there are some incredible names left off and Barzal at 3C just shows how strong this drat was. Adding to it, there's just so much more room for growth from some of the players to get even better.

Read the description. Based on where he was picked, yes. There were at least three players better than him taken within ten picks after him in the first round. Rantaanen (immediately after), Barzal, Chabot.

Meir is not a bad pick by any means, but San Jose could have done better. Therefor yes, average pick.

Congratulations, you can read. Different style players. White and Roslovic are perfect third liners, pegged as such. Eriksson Ek was pegged as an offensive guy who hasn't been that. He's a bust IMO. Make your own list if you don't like it.

They were all projected to be middle 6 centers. They all went around the same time. Eriksson Ek is the best of the three. I wasn't really that concerned with your ranking, but to say Eriksson Ek is a bust tells me all I need to know about your hockey "knowledge".
