I think Kekalainen would REJECT that PDQ!! I think you need to include better prospects and better roster player. Roslovic wants out so he’s a good one to move ... for the Jets. Maybe Perfetti plus a lottery protected first round pick as a starter. Then throw in Roslovic as a sweetener.

No it’s not close as it’s quantity over quality. You have to give a quality piece up to get a quality piece back. I don’t think it’s prospect package that gets the deal done. The only way this happens IMO is in a PLD for Laine swap. The Jets are not going to give up Perfetti or Heinola, and IMO that’s a nonstarter from CBJs side.

If the Jets are serious they’d need to give up something that hurts. The Jackets don’t have to move Dubois at all since he’s under contract still.

To me, if you're offering 4+ pieces for one player you are "screwing around" as that will never be accepted.

Our not screwing around offer is Patrick Laine 1 for 1. Maybe Patrick Laine + Roslovic + Niku for PLD + Savard.

These are the kind of offers we usually see for Laine and turn down and just like those offers the Jackets would turn this down.

I think Perfetti would be the piece CBJ would covet.

They’ve had a rough go lately keeping some very good players. With Perfetti, they essentially get him for the entire beginning of his career.

Laine for PLD is the new Nylander for Hamilton on here. For Columbus, I’m not sure they wanna pay Laine 9 or more after this season
