With Perreault & Sbisa on waivers (for Taxi Squad purposes I assume), you got to think Winnipeg makes at least 1 waiver claim no?

I haven’t gone through the list but it depends on who really. I wouldn’t make a claim for depth so I’d be making it for my roster. That is, if there is miraculously a3rd line winger or better 4c available, I might do it. But overall I don’t think they will unless it’s an upgrade on the roster

I was thinking the same thing. I dont get Lewis going from a PTO to 3rd line, take out the contract and MAtty P is the better hockey player.

Matty P was waived strictly for Little's contract to hit the LTIR after the season starts. We need Perreaults contract off the books for that to work. I also believe(my opinion) that the Jets didn't care if he got picked up as his 4M+ in hard cash for this year is a lot of money for a 4th liner

Sort of forgot about the LTIR situation. He is almost guaranteed not to be picked with his contract so this makes more sense now. Perreault will be in the opening night line up if I had to guess.
