Good way to waste away his career sitting on the bench

They have to have him in their main roster. He can't play on the taxi squad. If they want him on their taxi squad they would have to put him on waivers, and MTL would have first priority, but I agree: WHY!?!?!?!

Even if they place him on waivers, I don't even think Montreal would get him back. We would get priority, but if we weren't the only team to put a claim in on him then we would have to through him back on waivers (I believe that's how it works)

pretty sure if montreal says they want him back then they have to have him in their line up, but he doesn't have to pass through again to play in the NHL, but MTL might not even want him . They have other two way players that can play in the NHL.

If we claim him and nobody else puts in a claim then he can be sent to the AHL. If someone else puts in a claim then he has to be put on waivers again to be sent to the AHL. I think MTL definitely wants him, we just need him to play games in the AHL
