Mac has been working with Foote through camp so far. I think they probably stay together for a bit. Give Foote the same treatment Cernak got early in his career.

From all accounts Joseph has been really good at camp. I wanna see Volkov get the spot opening night but wouldn't be surprised if it Jo on the 4th line.

True. But if he can mentor him like he did Cernak they'll win a lot more games than they would with just Mac Cernak.
If they're getting the run around they can always pair them back up.

Cernak and Foote are different players though. Foote is closer to a Sergachev than a Cernak. And better to bring him along like they did Sergachev

I think Joseph will make the starting 12 over Volkov. Tonight’s scrimmage will be big for both Joseph as Volkov as they continue to battle for that final spot.
