We shouldn't trade Bouchard

Muzzin has NMC so the Leafs aren't going to ask their best Dmen to be traded for the very average Larsson. Robertson is still of junior age, could be star in the NHL. Bouchard still questionable as an NHLer. I'm not a fan of Bogosian, but Leafs don't trade a player who just signed as UFA. Good luck in signing other UFAs.

Oilers would much rather keep their top d prospect who they have developed over a couple years and who is poised to make the team. You can keep Bogosian

I don't mind that Oilers trade actually. People are going to dump on it, but I'm a huge fan of Bouchard. I'm also a huge fan of Robertson. Also the inclusion of Bogosian makes no sense. But solid idea, and origanal. I like it.

Robertson is a goal scoring machine.................Leafs would be foolish to trade up a young player with his upside potential.

Actually Robertson is 25 months younger. Bouchard is iffy to make to be top 7 for the Oilers this season, so the trade does nothing for the Leafs this year, plus they lose Bogosian

Only reason why Anaheim wouldn't take that trade is that we already have four defensemen we'd like to protect in the expansion draft, and this would give us five. Nice original thought, though.

I meant 1 draft year, as in Bouchard was drafted in 2018 and Robertson was drafted in 2019. You are acting like Bouchard is a bust and Robertson is a top tier prospect. Which is so far from accurate.
