Virtanen isn't needed. Leafs are loaded with winger prospects and roster guys. & a lot of their centre prospects right now project to be wingers. Not sure what fans you're talking to on that. But if if you're offering Gaudette up, he's got right into what the team needs exactly (right handed centre depth with speed) and fits Dubas' play style perfectly. He's be a fit

More credit? You’d think that the guy who has played in Vancouver for 14 years and asked for a NMC would rather stay put on a better team than get moved so he can get more “credit”.

VAN is not making those moves. Edler is not waiving, Jets just got Stastny. VAN doesn't need Holl either.
