And it basically fills out Edmonton's entire roster, understand no real proven players but the oldest asset in it is 21, and would leave Edmonton with the best youth in the league. Dont know if Edmonton would accept but its definetly in the ball park since it would be the largest return for any 1 player ever traded in the NHL since Lindros got traded for Forsberg

There's no chance in he11 Mcdavid gets traded and one roster player comes back in the deal. That's totally restarting the rebuild for EDM

It's just for fun man, and it's probably as much actual value MTL could give up for him. Maybe replace a piece with Danault or Gallagher but thier just making it to show what MTL could give Edmonton

Trust me IF McDavid was traded that would definitely signal the start of a rebuild! As for Value I think it is spot on, too much for Habs fans to want to give up , not enough for Oilers fans to want to do it and more than anyone has gotten back in the last almost 3 decades. Yup that pretty much is the perfect trade.

No where near close. MTL does not have the assets to trade for McDavid. Period. They would have to do something unconventional like throw in $250M for EDM to even consider this.

As IF your getting the equivalent of 7 1sts + 2 roster players, NO ONE in the history of the NHL has ever been worth that including Gretzky! I understand that Roster players may have to be included but that means removing prospects and picks not adding to them all. If roster players must be included a structure something like

Drouin + Tatar (extended) + Kotkaniemi + Guhle + 2021 1st + 2022 1st makes the most sense for both sides Edmonton gets 2 top 6 wingers 2 top end prospects and 2 mid 1sts (cause lets face it with McDavid coming in and Drouin + Tuna + Kotkaniemi leaving we are not really contenders anymore.
