Holl is one of those weird scenarios. He's both underrated and overrated imo.

Underrated to people who see him as a 7th D, overrated to people who see him as a #4 without Muzzin.

In reality, he can hold down the 4 spot with Muzzin, but is more like a 5/6 without him.

I don’t think they’re overrated, only reason I included them was because the general consensus on here is the are. Sure they each get traded for 2x what they’re worth, but they’re still premium players.

Nailed it with Holl. Some leafs fans think he’s a legit top 4 D. I know someone who seriously believes he had a better season than Seth Jones... but then there’s other people who think he’s an AHL D. In reality, like you said; he’s probably a 5-6D but paired with Muzzin he’s fine as a #4

Vlasic is not overrated, he is just aging poorly he was at one point the best stay at home D man in hockey.

Ethan Bear isn't overrated or underrated he is perfectly rated, if the media talk about him a lot it is because he is like the best Native player in the game today and they want to show the leagues diversity because in Canada every thing is diversity this and diversity that.

As a Sharks fan here, Darcy Kuemper is an incredible goalie and honestly I'd consider him top 5-10, criminally underrated
