CBJ needs a NHL centre back in any trade. So gotta think Strome has to go. IMO, no way CBJ trades PLD this season, if for the only reason "he wants out". Gee, you don't let players dictate your trades.

It happens more often than you would think with the rangers; look at St. Louis when he wanted the trade; Nash; etc. the rangers also in past years have let their better prospects go (obviously not recently).
If Strome is added, I can see rangers sending a lesser prospect than Schneider. Maybe a Zach Jones or Matthew Robinson. Still good but not the top tier. I think rangers would also let lundkvist go before Schneider. Personally I think Strome Lundkvist and a 1st would move the needle a bit for Columbus where they would at least send a counter back.

Agree about Nash wanting out. But he had been a long time CBJ or a poor team and was getting closer to UFA status. Just don't think you let players with 4 years of control dictate to you.
