I agree I think it'll be about 3x7ish million it's pretty much all they have left after they signed all their UFA's.

If he wants out he can sign a 3 year deal that’s backloaded and get a nice QO and jsut take it and go to UFA. In reality, it means he gets traded before then. Lou isn’t getting screwed here.

Backloaded contracts signed now have no bearing on qualifying offers. If over 1M it’s now 120% of AAV. The only purpose now to backload a contract is to reduce escrow for when league revenues get back to norm.

No it’s not, changed in the latest CBA.

“For players who are on expiring contracts that were signed after July 10, 2020:
The Qualifying Offer is limited to 120% of their previous contracts annual average (AAV)
