Not gonna lie, as an Oiler fan I was pretty happy with the value for PLD, and then I realized you also added Jones haha. Arguably a top 5 dman in the league, thats where you kind of lost it.

I'd be happy with Nuge, Lagesson, Larsson and a 1st. Probably not what CBJ is looking for

Larsson is one of the most overrated d men in the league. He constantly grades out as that of a 3rd pair.

Lageson offers very little value to the trade.

Lavoie is decent but not high end prospect.

Nuge without an extension offers them little value is he likely walks. Considering he is 70% of the value of their haul it does not work.

Would you take Krejci, John Moore, Jakub Zboril, Jakob Lauko, 1st for Yamamoto and Bear? Because that is what you are asking CBJ to do. And KY and Bear are not any where worth nearly as much as PLD and Jones.

If you want Seth Jones, it doesn't happen unless Draisaitl is the return. To think RNH or Nurse or anything else you have would get you Jones is ridiculous. Getting PDL with any of your secondary pieces is ridiculous.

Larsson is not rated. He never hit the ceiling scouts thought he would when he got drafted but now everyone knows your getting. He's not 3rd paring either. Top 4, shutdown, D with an edge. Not much offence.

Jones on the other hand is very overated. Solid top 4 D. Top 2 on some teams. On the Oilers he would be their best D. But he's not Norris caliber, at least not on CLB. He provides consistent offensive and D and he's hit his ceiling. You know what your getting now. And to day he's worth one of the best players in the league, reigning Hart and art Ross winner is absurd you makes your argument look even more ridiculous. Like yea, you know so much more about everyone else about hockey, please "school" me and teach me your ways all mighty one. Aha get lost.

Larsson isn't a shutdown defenceman, he's a bad defenceman at 5v5 but is a decent PK guy. He's Bogosian

Seth Jones finished #14 in Norris voting this past season as a 25 year old. He's not just overrated by Jackets fans - He's very highly rated by everyone.

I think you need to take Jones out of this trade and make an offer for PLD alone. I'm sure Columbus has absolutely no desire to trade Jones, and if you think he's grossly overrated I'm not sure why you're trying to trade for him in the first place.

On what planet does RNH and a bunch of scrubs get you PLD and Seth Jones? Give your head a shake here man.
