Actually, no. Ladd is rumoured to be LTIR and they went from a team desperate to shed cap to a team that can take 1 year serviceable cap dumps, depending on Barzal's contract obviously.

I wouldn't say the deal is trash, just not enough for both Soucy and Hartman.

Roslovic for Soucy 1x1 is a fair trade in my book, though I'm still not sure the Wild do it if I'm being honest. Considering we just resigned him and we need him for expansion purposes if we choose to protect Dumba.

Suess alone doesn't get you Hartman though, your going to need to up the ante a little bit in order for that to work.

I wasn't aware that Minnesota rates Hartman this highly, and being an outsider from both teams, I probably overrated Roslovic a bit. I agree that without Suess & Hartman it is much more closer.

Hartman's proven himself to be a highly solid bottom six grinder for us, a far cry than what his draft expectations were but still a solid NHL'er none the less. Interesting. He mentioned hickey as well, which is obviously the easier guy to move. I just don’t see any way they can move ladd unless they give up a 1st and wahlstrom, which is not happening. I wouldn’t give wahlstrom alone, isles desperately need someone with his skillset
