I love this rhetoric, the guy was 2 points short of a point per game but somehow is showing he's aging a season after posting career best numbers. He'll be above a point a game this season but will obviously be the 2C because Matthews is just dominant and that'll be the justification for this line of thought, "see JT is declining, Matthews has to take up the slack". No it's just that Matthews is a top 3 player in the league and JT is just a top 15 centre in the league arguably higher.
