Don’t hate this deal from a canes perspective. Komarov isn’t a on a good contract but it’s less and a year shorter than Gardiner. The deal opens up a spot for bean in the lineup, while also being a little more physically to the canes lineup. I think the second is fair to balance out the deal

Yes, Gardiner on the Canes seems like a very bad fit. I think he'd do better on the Islanders where they have a very strong defensive system to help him when he has defensive lapses.

Lou today said that Greene & Martin were signed. Also Ho-Sang isn't getting invited to camp.

I like the trade but I would laugh if it happened considering they traded away Toews and he signed for 500k more in COL.

Yeah I really didn't like the Toews trade, they definitely should have gotten a 1st for him. Maybe they didn't know Boychuk would be on LTIR.
