Vince Dunn a signé un contrat de 1 ans d'une valeur de 1 875 000 $ avec les Blues de St-Louis, le 31 déc. 2020. Le contrat comporte un cap hit de 1 875 000 $.
Solid signing. Dunn is a top 4 defenceman who selflessly took less than he could have gotten elsewhere. Maybe to stay with the Blues, maybe to make a little more room for Hoffman. Either way he’s good for 25 or more points a year and is improving his game each season.
Funny how they’re going to be paying Hoffman more than Dunn on the same term signed at the same time. RFAs have really gotten the short end of the stick this year.

So what you're saying is ... another team sent him an offer sheet ... and the media never reported it ... then he rejected it out of loyalty to the Blues?
Am I understanding you correctly? Because that's the only way an RFA could get more elsewhere.

Nope, and don’t try and twist my words into something they aren’t. I didn’t say the media was hiding stuff, or that a team sent him an offer sheet, ect.
I said that he could have gotten more elsewhere if he wanted to. Plain and simple. There’s obviously a bigger payday coming, much like the Labanc deal.

No he can't unless he gets an offer sheet as I said.
That's not crazy at all. Bear signed for 2 years. And that's not even touching the fact that Bear plays 1st pairing comp while Dunn is the 2nd most sheltered 3rd pairing defenseman in the league.

The Bear deal is FAR superior.
Dunn is a far superior player when it comes to production. tho. Only reason Bear is first line is because everyone else there is crap at his position. Dunn is 2nd Line because Faulk was playing the spot last year, and this year it's Krug. Tbf Dunn for most of Playoffs in 2019 did player the number 1 pairing role switching off with Gunnarsson every once in awhile. Dunn was with Pietrangelo for almost the entire 2019 Playoffs.
