Why are Habs fans constantly dumping Byron on Edmonton? Do you guys have no creativity at all?

Edmonton doesn't need or want Byron, not now, not at the deadline, not for a 7th round pick. There are far better ways to spend millions than to bring in an undersized, injury-prone 31-year-old 4th liner.

Roslovic has more value then a bottom 6 winger on an expiring deal, a 5-6 dman and a 3rd rounder

He did until his agent demanded a trade then his value bottomed out. Plus Armia is a middle 6 winger and Kulak is a 3-5 D man. Plus Roslovic isn't anything special himself, he is also a middle 6 winger, bottom 6 on the Jets. Don't try to make him out to be more than he is. Armia has had 10 plus goals in each of his last 4 seasons Roslovic has had 1, and Armia has had just as steady of an increase over that period as Roslovic. 1 for 1 would be fair the above package Winnipeg adds a 2nd.

Nothing in that offer that Winnipeg needs or would want for Roslovic.

He's a 23 year old first rounder who hasnt got a real shot at playing with top players in a good role. That type of value is worth more than what is mentioned. Maybe the habs arent the team to trade for him.

Whether or not he was a 1st rounder doesn't matter after 3 years of not being able to score more than 12 goals in a single season. Players have to earn ice time they shouldn't be given it, Roslovic has done nothing to prove he is worth more than Armia. Look at Suzuki the Habs started him on the wing in the middle 6 then demoted him to 4th line RW cause he had not earned his place then he turned it all around and started earning his spot so he moved up and finished in the 1C role. Same goes for KK who was demoted to the AHL he decided to prove his worth and earned his ice time back. Roslovic hasn't done that.
