I don't mind the base of this deal but I wouldn't want Winnipeg sending a 2nd rounder WITH Roslovic.

I’d rather send Bean and not fleury. Fleury has a defined roster spot that bean can not fill. I really like bean and think he deserves a chance in the lineup, but I don’t see it happening without moving Gardiner.

I think Winnipeg would be very pleased with this deal, they get a good young defenseman and a replacement for Roslovic. The only thing is idk if the Jets would like giving up a second in that deal.

I agree with you guys. No reason to add the 2nd. A one for one makes sense for both teams...no Dzingle

I would say it probably wouldn’t be straight up. My guess is the canes would value bean higher than roslovic so maybe add a mid round pick. Also op added the dzingle for cap reasons, and leaving him in the deal I think makes sense for both teams. At half retained he certainly would have value to the jets in a middle 6 role

You're right. At first I was like "jets dont need Dzingl" but they do after trading away Roslovic haha

Fleury and geekie would be ideal for jets, geekie would be in battle for 2c after stasny or a cheap replacement for Lowry and not a bad partner for copp on pk, fleury might be a problem come expansion numbers, but definitely a nice fit if available. Jets would have to anti up for a geekie fleury trade

If Im the jets I dont want either of those guys. Skejei is overpaid and limited IMO, plus the jets dont need LSD unless they are young like Bean. I also see why CAR wouldnt want to trade Bean
