Possibly but I think Holden is the more likely candidate to be on the taxi squad. Would sort of suck if Holden was claimed but would solve any issues for the season and force them to use Hague this season. Or Coghlan. And if Holden isn't claimed Vegas is under.

I think they waive both Holden and Fluery on 1/12 to save cap space. 20 man roster with a 6 man taxi.

You don’t have the cap space to move anyone off the taxi squad you’d be force to play short handed every night if someone got injured which could be multiple players at a time, a player would need to miss 14 days due to injury before you can move then to LTIR to gain his cap hit, LTIR is reviewed by the NHL so you can’t cheat the system, with the condensed schedule you’d be forced to play 7-8 games short handed until a LTIR move could be made.
If your going with a 20 man roster your going to need close to a mil in cap space.
