That is a good team my friend.
The future is very bright.
Two good scoring lines and a solid checking line.
The defense is a bit soft, with only Dahlin and Jokiharju being top value.
Johnson, Samuelsson and Borgen have middle pairing ceiling.

I still think I would rather have Rossi than Quinn but time will tell on that one.

Yeah when I was watching the draft I was very confused why they picked Quinn over Rossi. However, Quinn is still an exceptional offensive powerhouse and positionally it makes sense.

I understand what you mean.
In general centers are much more valuable than wingers.
Eichel, Tavares, Crosby, and many more can make a seventh round draft pick look good (Olofsson, Moulson, Sheary in the correct order).

There are other sources for mock drafts, but his has three different contributors who all thought Rossi be gone by the fifth round while all also agree Quinn would be available in the 11th round.

So IMO Buffalo voluntarily moved from the fifth spot to the eleventh spot.
If a team were to try to move up from the 11th OA to the 5th OA that team would need to add a very good pick around the 30th OA.

I do not want to get into a food fight over this, it is just my opinion.
Buffalo is not in the position to be drafting by need, they still need a lot more talent.
Rossi is considered to have more talent then Quinn.

Further more, a center can be moved to the wing if needed see Sam Reinhart.

Peterka had a goal and an assist for Germany in a 16 to 2 beatdown and an assist in the 5-2 loss to Finland.
So he has had a hand in 3 of the 5 goals scored by Germany.
I thought that Peterka was a great pick, Rossi IMO was a gift that we passed on.

Regardless, nice team, good future IMO.

I mean Quinn was an over reach bit there is alot more potential that can be unlocked in Quinn than in Rossi with his size, skating and shot. While Rossi is an excellent mind and I'd so smart and deceptive he is slightly undersized and in a game where speed is increasing everywhere being big and fast is important. Reason why McDavid, Eichel, Matthews, MacKinnon, Barkov, Petterson, and these players are so special is because they are big and fast making them almost unstoppable.
