Okay, adding only benefits the coyotes more. But Tampa is not nearly as desperate to shed cap as they were before, so no team is going to be able to squeeze as much out of Tampa as before. Coyotes didn’t claim him before because it would have been +$5 mil against the cap, this is net +$2.5 mil.

Johnson and Barre-Boulet? ABB doesn't have a long-term future in Tampa if he can score NHL goals. Arizona can have him if it moves Johnson.

🙄🙄🙄 refresh your browser it’s not 2011 anymore. We have a billionaire owner who has committed to staying in Phx time and time again when troglodytes from the north like you ask when they’re moving. Please do yourself a favor and find a new slant.

You’re right about Johnson not wanting to move to a non Cup contender. But playing in the NHL is better than playing in the AHL and there’s no contender out there that has the cap space or desire for him. So tough s**t. He agrees because the Coyotes agree to get him to Seattle.

Tell me something how does a Billionaire owner who wants to stay in Arizona have to do with being on the brink of bankruptcy? Arizona is bleeding money hence the reason why Armstrong was looking to offload Oliver Ekman-Larsson's contract plus trade basically anyone 25 and over per reports. With Kucherov out for the season i doubt JBB moves Killorn or Johnson now. if anyones get moved it might be Coburn if waives and Paquette.

You’re right it must be serious. They did trade OEL and every player making over $3 mil and are a cap floor team.....

Seriously. Just cause you read it from Eklund one time doesn’t mean it’s true. If they were really bleeding money that bad then everyone would be gone, regardless of the return.

You’re right Tampa could trade both of those guys and get basically nothing in return. Or they could do this deal and actually get something back. There’s multiple Tampa fans in this thread now saying they like it.
