Clearly they're betting on Granlund getting a confidence boost from playing next to a fellow Finn in Haula. Hey, it's worth a shot!

This makes zero sense for both sides. Why not go somewhere new? Why not play with a decent Center? Nashville will be very mediocre again.

Nashville gets a good veteran forward that can play in that middle six and always jump up if needed. He can play centre if needed. 1 year. very little risk.

He played pretty well last few months. Atleast compare to almost all other preds forwards. Coach seemed to like him, played big minutes, PK etc.

I guess I just thought that the Granlund in NSH experiment had run its course. It failed. He was an absolute scoring machine in MIN.

... And then Nashville signed Haula! 😉

Only once has Haula topped 34 points in his career. .43 ppg in his career, as well. I suppose Haula has the potential to be a 40-45 point player, but I'm taking the under all day every day on that.

I think it's too much BUT if he rebounds well this short season it will be good for the team. HE MUST PRODUCE.

He might do better under different coaching. Think options were limited.

This would be a solid deal for any team besides NSH. I do not understand why they'd want to try the Granlund experiment again.
