Lawton is the reason that Hedman is a Bolt. The entire backroom staff was in on Duchene and he overrid them the day of the draft and told them he was picking Hedman.

At least be grateful that Lawton was only the GM for two years and only had authority over a single draft. Tampa was a hot mess in the late 2000s and you're lucky the only downsides were a handful of bad seasons and a couple of "what-ifs".
