2 loopholes, one being that the Leafs either need Petan or Malgin to get enough play gamed to qualify as unprotected NHLer's or Dubas will just have to trade for a AHLer which does met the standards.

The other concern is whether Freddie signs early. If he does than Campbell gets exposed (no big deal, the Kraken should have plenty of other goalies to look at).

If the Leafs lose Dermott, also no big deal, as his RFA contract status might have proved to be a headache for Dubas anyhow.

It sucks to lose Dermott for nothing. What if they did 8 skaters with Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Rielly, Muzzin, Brodie and Dermott. Hymen and Rielly are both up in the same year and they both getting paid. Hymen would command how much if he puts up another 20 goal season? At least 5 or 6 he’s not that young where he’d take a bridge deal. Plus Reilly’s contract can they really afford Hymen?

If Kerfoot is exposed, he's gone. Rather Dermott to leave because his RFA status might prove too much and Sandin will be a starter in 2021.

If I was Dubas I'd sign Goat for 2 years just as another option for the Expansion exposure requirements. Though unless the Leafs find a trade for Dermott, he'll be pick, if the Leafs trade Dermott, they still got Holl available to tempt R. Francis.

Does Holl M-NTC effect the expansion draft if he chooses to put Seattle on his no trade list, thus forcing the Leafs to protect him>?

I agree signing the Goat again would be great. As for Holl, no, his M-NTC does not affect the Kraken. An expansion draft is different than a trade.
