Question: Can a team trade away their retained salary from a trade in order to free ups additional cap space? For example, PIT currently holds $2.05M of Nick Bjugstad's 2020-21 salary. Can they trade that salary, say, along with a draft pick or prospect, to another team? Or, are they stuck with it?
