Canes aren't trading Slavin unless it's an absolute haul and even then his contract is so good

But this doesn't count as an absolute haul? Chytil still has legit upside. Schneider 15th OV last year, another 1st, Gerogiev has decent upside, and a B/C prospect.

Yeah it's a decent offer but he's one of the best D-man in the league and has a good contract with term as well. Maybe if Hamilton leaves and he doesn't do good without him then they'd look for a similar package in a year or 2

Being a Leaf fan, I don't usually see trade attempts that actually give up a decent assets.

Rangers arent giving up that many prospects for Slavin.

If anything it would be 1 player, 1 prospect, & 1 pick.
