Pageau's contract is just too long for my liking, and like imo from the Leafs standpoint I don't make that trade as Sandin is a huge part of the future of our blueline. Maybe if it was Liljgren instead and the Islanders replaced Pageau with one of their younger players. Nylander = Pulock though imo. I don't really see a need to add to that.

also, stamkos didn't wanna play in Toronto a few years ago, not sure he'd want to come play for us now

also, JT is not waiving for Tampa, nor is tampa taking on extra cap for a guy, signed longer who's at best an equal player when both are healthy
