U know the funny thing is that Lindgren is the exaxtly the kind of defensmen Toronto needs too bad the package to get him would be a lot higher than that. Not to mention the fact that you don't even have him in you starting six. Him and Fox were the top pair for the Rangers for the second half of the season

With all the money the leafs have tied up in the big 4, there is absolutely no appetite to ice a $7.5M 4th line! That money needs to be allocated to defense and ice a 4th line with as close to min contracts as possible.

Holl is an expansion draft candidate so no reason to trade him. They'll have to expose one of Dermott, Holl, Kerfoot or Hyman so Engvall probably won't get picked.
