A happier Eichel gets another sniper to play with, Buffalo doesn't have to wait years. Hughes for Dahlin, both are dynamic with Hughes maybe helping a little more on the PP.
For Vancouver it still gives a stud dman and since they are still rebuilding and this year that they were stepping back anyway, the whole season to replace Boeser.
Big plus for Buffalo, 25% better chance of getting into the playoffs and two to three years of development time, both players have good reputations and stats.
For Vancouver it is the obvious, two players sent to a different conference so fewer comparisons, a more all round defenceman and some cap control in 3 years. They scored a ton of goals last season without Toffoli. Expectations are not as high this year for playoffs either so the fan base isn't quite as intense.
