Montreal has no needs they have a pretty deep forward and defenceman pool and we have Primeau so for Montreal i would've put best player available

Ducks still take Drysdale imo, they needed a right shot Dman, they already have a log jam of LHDs

The Wild don't need defense. We're stacked on our defensive prospects on the right side. What we needed was left handed defenseman. So if we had taken a defenseman there, it would of been Sanderson not Drysdale.

We did address those needs by picking up both Ryan O'Rourke and Daemon Hunt during the draft and they'll fill out our bottom 4-6 spots quite nicely once they're ready. We still lack that true top pairing talent to replace Suter but that would've been incredibly shortsighted to go for it this year during such a forward heavy draft.

Next years draft is defenseman heavy for the 1st round with all but one of them being left defenseman, Clarke being the lone RD of the bunch, and the Wild have 2 1st rounders next year. Do the math.

The Wild's greatest need during this draft class was centers, there isn't a chance in hell we pass on Rossi there. He's available, we're taking him. 100/100 times. We took him there at 9th because he was both the BPA on the board and because he was our greatest need at the same time, they just so happened to happily coincide and the draft gods smiled upon both the Wild and it's fanbase for once.

Oh yeah definitely, I just did it in the order the draft went, Drysdale is going to have a better Career IMO
