1. Alexis Lafrenière (Rangers de New York) (Détails: It was pretty obvious he was going first).
2. Quinton Byfield (Kings de Los Angeles) (Détails: I was expecting Stuetzle, because LA has a strong Center prospect core, but I guess Alex Turcotte could play LW with Byfield, that would be a sick duo).
3. Tim Stützle (Sénateurs d'Ottawa from Sharks de San Jose) (Détails: Since Byfield went 2nd, this pick wasn’t much of a surprise).
4. Lucas Raymond (Red Wings de Detroit) (Détails: Love this pick, Raymond is one of my favourite players from this draft, wouldn’t have been surprised if we took a center, like Rossi or Perfetti).
5. Jake Sanderson (Sénateurs d'Ottawa) (Détails: Very unexpected, I think it was a little early for Sanderson, I was expecting Rossi, Drysdale or Holtz).
6. Jamie Drysdale (Ducks d'Anaheim) (Détails: He is a perfect fit for the ducks).
7. Alexander Holtz (Devils du New Jersey) (Détails: Perfect fit for the devils and he’ll be perfect with Hughes or Hischier or possibly both).
8. Jack Quinn (Sabres de Buffalo) (Détails: A little unexpected, but he’s a good fit for the sabres).
9. Marco Rossi (Wild du Minnesota) (Détails: Obvious pick, super surprised that he dropped as far as he did, but he is the best team fit).
10. Cole Perfetti (Jets de Winnipeg) (Détails: Good fit for the jets, wasn’t expecting him to drop this far too).
11. Yaroslav Askarov (Predators de Nashville) (Détails: Since Quinn was taken at 8, this one was pretty obvious).
12. Anton Lundell (Panthers de la Floride) (Détails: Best player available, was expecting possibly Guhle, but Lundell is already NHL ready in my opinion).
13. Seth Jarvis (Hurricanes de la Caroline from Maple Leafs de Toronto) (Détails: I was hoping Jarvis went to Edmonton, but this wasn’t much of a surprise, since Askarov was already taken).
14. Dylan Holloway (Oilers d'Edmonton) (Détails: Good pick, kinda thought Amirov would’ve been taken here, but I understand why they took Holloway).
