Kuemper is a good goalie and all, but he’s going to be 32 and looking for a raise by the time the Hawks are ready to compete again, so it doesn’t make much sense to give up prospects for him. Also, I don’t think Kuemper is as valuable as most people think, but this probably doesn’t get it done?
