Well by that definition Amirov already looks like a bust because he signed a contract in the KHL that lasts until 2023. Young KHL players take time to come over, but when they do a lot of them have an impact almost immediately

No, Marner has been over a point per game twice in his career and Barzal has only done it once. Marner is also one of the best set up guys in the league and a great two way player as he logs a lot of pk minutes. Marner is third, he is the better player, the only reason people value him so low is because of his contract.

No he wouldn't have - he missed 11 games with injury so the max he could have played was 71. If he had remained healthy for the remainder of the games he would likely have scored about 80 points.

Bro you know what I mean okay. My point is he was ON PACE for 90+ points in a full 82 game season. He had 67 in 59 games, and as you said he also suffered an injury which could have held him back a bit. He is better then Barzal imo. Like Barzal is a great player, but he is kinda overrated ngl.
