This is huge for the Isles. $6M that goes from Boychuk's pocket to Barzal. Isles keep the rest of their core, and assets.

I think It was a Robidas situation as well. Boychuk didn't seem injured when he last played.

It's entirely possible that a) Boychuk probably isn't 100% and thinks retiring may be the best option and b) Lou is circumventing the system as he has done in the past.
