He's still a 20 goal scorer and with that retention, that's pretty fair.

Kings don't have to trade Carter, He's still a great lockeroom guy, he'd be a perfect RW for Byfield this year and I don't even really want to trade him till next season, but that's a pretty good return for the Kings.

Really? The guys gets paid over $5 Mil and the most points he's had over the past 3 seasons have been 33 pts. He was considering retiring after 2019 season. The kings are going to have a cap recapture if he decides to hang em up. I bet they would let him go for a 5th as rn with his age and play he's border line a cap dump.

There's more Pens fans saying on here saying they like it, you're the only one who doesn't. I can't please everyone and like I said before, I'm not sure if I'd even do it as a Kings fan. Just throwing ideas out like I always do. Some like them, some don't. That's how it works on here.

Carter is more valuable as a winger for Byfield this season than a 2nd round pick and Caulfield is to the Kings IMO. Kings don't have many good/experienced wingers to play with Byfield other than Carter.

I feel like someone would pay more for Carter honestly
