Yes, it can work. I would have Coleman for TBL, one of Ehlers/DeMelo for WPG and Foligno/Eriksson Ek/Brodin/Spurgeon for Minnesota. Kotkaniemi had a down year but it's only his second season; I will say Mete for MTL.

Erickson Ek for the Wild imo. He's so good defensively and gets absolutely no recognition. If he keeps developing, he'll be Koivu 2.0 (who was another criminally underrated player).

IMO for MTK it's 100% Chiarot. Such an effective d-man.

I think JEE will have a bit less offensive impact than Koivu had in his prime IMO. But I tend to agree with you

he was very underrated in WIN too. Losing Myers made sense because of the deal he signed, but IMO GMKC should've really tried to keep Chiarot. A d-core composed of:
Morrrissey-DeMelo
Chiarot-Pionk
Samberg/Beaulieu-Poolman

would quietly be very effective at both ends

It looks that way so far, this season will be interesting because JEE might get some PP time for a change with Staal and Koivu gone. That might help him find more offense in his game.

Oh I agree. I love him as well. I think the Wild should (partly) build around him in the future. he could run their 2nd PP and as well as their PK in the near future
