Sergachev is a stud. Also why would you lose lindgren to seattle. Protect serg, trouba, and lindgren. Deangelo was already traded and fox is exempt.

Tb wont do that. Sergs a stud who they dont want to trade. In order to get him youll need to give up a lot. But he is the final piece of the puzzle.

Dunn isnt as good as serg plus hes older. I dont think dunn will be a better pair for trouba. And yes for serg they can get a ransom. As for kandre hes not a stud yet, he also does not fit their timeline. It will be 22-23 at least before hes a first pair dman and by that time it might be too late.

buddy they just started a rebuild it wont be too late, and dunn is a similar and likely better player than morrisey which trouba played great with, and no need to overpay for serg

The “K’Andre Miller will be a stud” notion that is spewed all over this site has little merit. What has he done? Good freshman year, lousy sophomore year(entire team under achieved thiugh), lousy tournament play in the WJC’s the past two years. The physical tools are there, no doubt, but what else has he done to put him in the same class as Sergachev?

I didn’t I just said he’ll be a stud, watch his film and games for more than just WJC and reading articles about his performance and Ull see that he looks like he’s gonna be great. Him and nils with fox and lindgren as well, then where are you putting serg?

Theyll have to pay in the next 2 years kakko, buch, kravtzov, mika, 2C, chytl, lemieux, fox, lindgren, shesterkin, and georgiev. Plus they have a ton of bonuses. Theyre not going to be able to pay everyone. They have a 2 year window (unless kreider or trouba waive but thats unlikely) and right now its a 1 year window because they dont have a first pair LD. If they make this deal what are they missing. Even if strome and deangelo come back to earth (they will) you just got lafrenierre and kakko will be better and probably chytl so youre good offensively (plus you have serg over smith). But youll fix your d problems and have a real chance at the cup. I firmly believe both ny teams are 1 piece away and for the rangers serg is the best piece available and hes a pretty damn good player.

Trouba will be around forever if youre worrying about where to put people.

They don’t have the cap to pay him either, they needs all the cap they can save. They’ll be fine to pay those other players one with the cap rise and likely one of trouba or Kreider gone by then not to mention strome and Deangelo are likely gone and Buch too so I don’t think they are worried about that

With kreider and trouba theyre not going to be contenders anymore in 22-23. They need to win now and they cant do that with brendan smith at LD1

Trouba and kreider both have nmcs and are probably not going to waive. Agree strome buch and deangelo will be gone by then but you still have to pay a 2C. Also the cap might not necessarily rise by then (hope it will) but you dont know and theres just not enough room to win in 22-23.
