I see Carolina going the Detroit approach with our 1st and 2nd round prospects. I don't see them entering the league until a few AHL years under their belt. 2022-23 at the earliest for Bokk, Keane, and Suzuki, 2023-24 for Jarvis, Drury, and Rees, and 2024-25 for Gunler, Honka, Fensore, and Ponomaryov.

Sebastian Aho was so exceptional that he got a roster spot year after he was drafted and it paid off. I see Rees taking the spot next year as well, not sure about Suzuki though. Jordan Staal should be bought out so that he does not block Geekie's and Suzuki's development and his number are not adequate to his contract

Exception, not the rule. Maybe one of our guys has that type of developmental path. Most won't. We'll get a lot of NHLers, I agree, just not at that pace.
