None of your links share anything That all of us didn’t already know. we all know whAt top 6 and bottom 6 mean and again there are players who aren’t 4th liners and no where near top linear a who when hot play the 2nd line and when cold land in the 3rd line they make 1.5-3.8 per season and are very valuable important players but not 100% top 6 guys but also not bottom 6 either they fall in the middle 6 range.

During the game, they play and switch playing with each other throughout most of the game. The top 2 lines are out there with a lot of combos usually. Same with the bottom 6. No coach I know, puts a 3rd line player onto the 1st or 2nd line during a game. Maybe if it’s an injury. Or he is playing well. Or someone is playing bad and u to move him down. But you most always wait till the next game and start him out playing in the top 6 pairings. Accept injury.
