I think I would slot it a little different, but majority of the names would be the same. I just question if stamkos, tavares, and marner can’t crack the top 6, do they make sense to be playing. Over coutiere and scheifele who would probably take on more of a checking role. Bergeron/Crosby/Marchand line has been damn good in past so possibly slot it down lower for a possession type line and some of your offensive players a little higher or break that lineup and add a stamkos and marner to Crosby with Marchand Bergeron and stone as a shutdown line. One can’t go wrong with this squad

Chabot is better than morissey and I think lafreniere and byfeild could make it but we will have to see

u can argue chabot/rielly. but I think Bergeron is safely better than Scheifele at the moment, not to mention his previous chemistry with sid

I made the team as in for 2020. Chabot is better than morrisey, but I think with the abundance of offensive guys we have, they'd play play Morrisey over him

Honestly the only changes I’d make are to move RoR to the 3rd line (RoR-Point-Stone would be an ELITE checking line) and then you can either put Stamkos on the 4th line to give Marner another elite sniper to pass to or up with McDavid and bump Huberdeau down.

I’d also take Chabot over Morrissey, his defensive game has improved and I just think his offensive ability is so much higher that it’s not worth the upgrade defensively. It’s more likely that they bring Parayko instead imo (I’d rather have Chabot-Parayko than Morrissey-Makar personally).
